Kylie: Soap return would be fun

Kylie Minogue has admitted it would be fun to return to Neighbours.

The pop star, who played mechanic Charlene Mitchell on the Aussie soap from 1986 to 1988, has even thought about how the character would make her entrance.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: "The other day I thought about how much fun it would be to do it after years of saying never. I've decided how it would work."

She went on: "Charlene would screech up the drive in her souped-up Mini which she's been working on all the time. I don't watch the show any more but it could be fun to do that. It could be hilarious."

Charlene, who famously married Scott Robinson (Jason Donovan), left Ramsay Street to start a new life in Brisbane.
