Kylie Minogue takes to 'Twitter' to deny 'rocky relationship' with Andres Velencoso

Fret not Kylie Minogue fans! The pop pixie has taken to social networking site Twitter to deny reports from yesterday that her 18-month relationship with Spanish model Andres Velencoso is "on the rocks".

It had been claimed that the pair, who began dating in 2008 after meeting at a party thrown by Dita Von Teese, had hit a bad patch after Andres walked out on the Aussie singer during a blazing row.

A source had been quoted as saying:

"They had a massive row on Wednesday of last week, at the end of which he told her it was over. She and Andres had been bickering for a few days. She got quite critical of him, complaining he was not supporting her enough. Andres had enough. He told her it was over, that he did not need that kind of stress in his life."

It was then claimed that Kylie had attended a string of public engagements without her 32-year-old beau, and even spent her 42nd birthday on her own.

So the star took to her Twitter page today to reassure her fans and disappoint the male ones by Tweeting:

"Wowza...love life rumors have gone mad!!!! ....please pay no attention peeps. My birthday was magical with AV and friends!! :)"

Now, while we're clearly no detectives, we're pretty certain that "AV" stands for Andres Velencoso...
